Warehouse Supervisor

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for aWarehouse Supervisor in Florence, NJ to oversee our current mid shift that will grow into a 2nd shift.

The current hours are 10:00AM - 7:00PM

The 2nd shift hours will be 2:00PM - 10:30PM

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for supervising warehouse floor staff to ensure the efficient flow of daily warehouse operations under an organized and safe environment.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide daily supervision for approximately 10 full time employees.
• Assist with inbound and outbound traffic of drivers and or visitors.
• Assist the Distribution Center Manager with employee administrative task such as performance reviews, and monitoring and approving time off requests.
• Assist the DC Manager with routine warehouse operations issues, scheduling and projects.
• Act as a warehouse liaison with the various departments to handle requests.
• Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized and that all safety issues are reported.
• Ensure that warehouse is secure when unattended.
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Training:

• 5 years of warehouse experience.
• 2 years of supervisor experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $28.84 and $39.66/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards.Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
