Position: Quality Assurance Inspector

Reports To: QHSE Manager
Position Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector is responsible for final inspection of all Gilmore products prior to the product leaving the facility. Responsibilities include reviewing Final Acceptance Test reports and charts, creation of certificates of conformance, certificates of test and combining files.
Essential Job Duties:
- Review Gilmore Products after final assembly and testing to ensure products conform to product requirements.
- Approve documentation and creation of certificates of test and conformance.
- Verification of pressure test reports and charts against standard procedures.
- Creation of non-conformance reports when errors are found during final inspection.
- Performing in process inspections of Assembly and Test processes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
- Associate's degree or 2 years of experience in a similar role
Desired Education:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in a similar role
Required Experience:
- Ability to read and interpret standard manufacturing conformance reports.
- Ability to analysis and compare reports against standard procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret material traceability reports and material specification standards.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Basic knowledge of API Q1; ISO 9001; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 record and documentation requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the aptitude to write and update procedures and work instructions.
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications.
Desired Experience:
- Two years of related experience or experience directly working with quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience interfacing with ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, sit, lift, push, pull and move objects for 8-12 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and carry files, packages, boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Speak/hear and use specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Capable of properly using standard office equipment, including telephone, and a computer with keyboard.
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Includes steel toe shoes and safety glasses. Additional PPE may be required based on location and task.
Work Environment:
- Work will mostly be performed indoors in a controlled environment.
- Some exposure to the manufacturing and shop areas with exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.
