We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team. As an Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing environmental compliance, managing projects, and ensuring adherence to environmental laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and a background in engineering or environmental science. Responsibilities : - Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them - Manage environmental projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations - Conduct research on emerging environmental issues and technologies to stay up-to-date on industry trends - Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders - Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental best practices - Monitor water treatment and wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with quality standards - Stay informed about changes in environmental laws and regulations and make recommendations for policy updates Skills : - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as MicroStation - Knowledge of water treatment and wastewater treatment processes - Familiarity with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations and guidelines - Understanding of environmental law and its application in a corporate setting - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment If you are a motivated individual with a passion for environmental stewardship, we encourage you to apply.
