CNC Operator/Programmer

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, related software, and machining operations. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, write/modify programs for CNC machines, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities are to produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating of both conventional (manual) and CNC lathes and mills.
• Program Mills and Lathes, may interface with CNC programs as necessary to input data
• Set-up Mills and Lathes by installing chucks, tools and attachments
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces, adhering to national standards.
• Follow written and verbal instruction accurately including the ability to read blueprint, AutoCAD and Solidworks drawings.
• Use of inspection measurement instruments to inspect parts prior to, during and after machine operations.
• Maintain part tolerances, detect problems and trouble shoot set-ups.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
• 2-4 years CNC Machining experience in a regulated industry.
• Ability to program G-Code and make programming adjustments

Applicant Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and their applications
• CNC Machining; Daewoo, Emco-Maier, Quick Tech 142 and Yama-Seiki with Fanuc controls.
• Drug Testing Required.
• Full Time Position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
