Responsibilities
This position is responsible for efficiently designing, testing, implementing, and completing projects while meeting project specifications and budget requirements. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will work in all areas of project implementation including; panel design, hardware selection, programming, testing, and site support. You will work with relay and PLC based control panel designs including; schematics, panel layouts, and bill of materials. Performing design analysis including; fuse sizing, breaker sizing, wire sizing, and short circuit analysis. You will perform in-shop testing and field startups, and you will help in supporting Sales, Receiving, Drafting, Documentation, Purchasing, Production and Shipping - to see your project to completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Basic computer software skills using Microsoft Office Suite, E-Mail, Internet, AutoCAD Electrical.
- Entry Level Accepted or Three (3) years of related work experience in related field, Preferred.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn technical skills and a continued education in the industry.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to design, write and test software and provide hardware services for small projects with some supervision.
- Knowledge and experience with specialized tools and test equipment. Basic hand tool skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to interact with customers, vendors, company employees and subcontractors is a must.
- Background check required - including DMV.
- Drug screenings are at random/company discretion for all employees after hire.
Position/Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
However, longer hours, evenings and weekend work may be required from time to time.

Rate of pay will be based on skill level.
