We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to take on a leadership role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of low voltage system projects within commercial data centers and multifamily residential buildings. This position will be responsible for the overall direction and management of multiple, high-profile projects while ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and meets all customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Take ownership of the successful planning, organization, and execution of multiple low voltage system installations, including fire life safety, video surveillance, access control, intrusion, structured cabling, CCTV, DAS, nurse call, paging, and other specialized systems.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead a team of project managers, installation technicians, foremen, and other staff to ensure efficient, high-quality project delivery. Provide mentorship and guidance to enhance team performance, ensuring all project deadlines and customer expectations are met.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, overseeing communication, project updates, and resolution of any issues or concerns. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Project Scheduling & Budgeting: Take full responsibility for the development and management of project timelines and budgets. Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources, while managing costs and proactively addressing any budget variances or delays.
  • Contract & Design Review: Review project plans, contract drawings, CSI proposals, and shop drawings to ensure they align with the scope of work. Collaborate with CSI’s engineering team to address any design challenges and provide efficient solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, other contractors, and subcontractors to ensure all project milestones are met and any dependencies are efficiently managed. Coordinate with code officials to ensure all local regulations and permits are adhered to.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage potential project risks, including out-of-scope requests from clients or contractors, and develop mitigation strategies. Address and resolve installation challenges to maintain project momentum.
  • Project Documentation & Reporting: Oversee all project documentation, including the creation of schedules of values, monthly billing, and progress reports for upper management. Provide regular updates on project status, including milestones, challenges, and any issues requiring resolution.
  • Quality Control & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest industry standards and meets safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing large-scale low voltage systems projects, with proven leadership experience in overseeing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems, including design, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning. Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with internal teams, customers, and contractors. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources to meet deadlines and budget goals.
  • Certifications/Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Familiarity with MS Office and relevant project management software tools.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in data centers and multifamily residential settings.
