Essential Tasks for the Commercial Lead:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and engage potential clients, maintaining a robust and accurate sales pipeline.
- Provide timely follow-ups, accurate forecasting, and detailed reporting on sales performance.
- Drive contract negotiations, ensuring profitable agreements that support revenue growth.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the company’s broader portfolio.
- Provide data for sales analysis to Senior BD.
Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Engage regularly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and satisfaction levels.
- Build and maintain client relationships and ensure smooth communication of project progress.
- Oversee pricing, quotes, offers, tenders, and service orders to align with company policies and revenue goals.
- Foster long-term relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and increased lifetime value.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Ensure exceptional client experience by coordinating with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and address any service- related concerns.
- Communicate and report effectively to Senior BD.
- Provide support to Senior BD with requested activities
Commercial Assistance
- Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on new business opportunities to communicate to Senior BD.
- Support and implement business plans aligned with the strategy provided by Senior BD
- Track and measure effectiveness of commercial strategies.
- Optimize service offerings to meet evolving industry demands and enhance financial growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform Control union’s Senior BD.
- Negotiate and close delas with key clients and partners for Control Union.
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Expand the company’s presence in high-growth markets through partnerships and client engagement.
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt strategies to maintain compliance and market leadership.
- Develop entry strategies for new geographical regions and industry segments.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Developing pricing strategies and oversee contract negotiations.
- Track sales performance, revenue and profitability metrics
- Ensure commercial activities align with the company fiscal goals
- Meet KPI’s set for self and by management.
Strategic Partnerships & Industry Leadership
- Represent the company at global conferences, trade fairs, and industry panels to generate business leads.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop thought leadership content and enhance brand visibility.
Non- Essential Tasks for the Commercial Lead:
- Attending networking events
- Providing assistance with report writing presentations and documentation outside of primary role
