ControlPoint is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join a dynamic land survey team as a Rod Person. This is an entry-level position that involves assisting the Land Survey Field Crew Chief and Instrument Person.
The position is ideal for someone with a strong passion for the outdoors, as the majority of work is performed in the field. The role is physically demanding, requiring significant walking, navigating uneven terrain and steep slopes, and frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, and carrying survey equipment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated physical fitness and ability to lift and carry equipment weighing at least 40-50 lbs.
- Willingness and ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
