ConveLabs is a rapidly growing mobile lab services provider, delivering high-quality phlebotomy and specimen collection services directly to patients, corporate clients, and wellness programs. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team as an Area Manager in the Orlando region.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and experienced phlebotomist who is comfortable working independently in a mobile setting. The role will start as a part-time position (3 days per week) and transition into a full-time, 5-day workweek. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in specimen collection and processing, lab test familiarity, and problem-solving in the field.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Perform mobile phlebotomy services at patient homes, corporate offices, and wellness events
✔ Accurately collect, process, and prepare specimens for lab testing
✔ Ensure proper handling, labeling, and transport of specimens to partner laboratories
✔ Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols
✔ Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and corporate clients
✔ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to specimen collection and patient concerns
✔ Work independently while following established company protocols and procedures
✔ Assist with route planning and scheduling for efficient service coverage
✔ Help with expanding the territory and onboarding additional phlebotomists as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical, hospital, or mobile setting
✅ Experience with specimen processing, handling, and lab testing procedures
✅ Strong knowledge of specimen collection tubes, order of draw, and test requirements
✅ Must have reliable transportation (Mileage reimbursement available)
✅ Comfortable with traveling within the Orlando area for patient visits
✅ Ability to work independently and make quick, professional decisions in the field
✅ Excellent communication, professionalism, and customer service skills
✅ Ability to use mobile technology for scheduling and documentation
✅ Must pass a background check before onboarding
