Our Human Resources team plays a crucial role in ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop top talent aligned with our company’s values and culture. We are seeking an HR Generalist who is passionate about recruitment, employee engagement, and supporting training and development initiatives.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting talent acquisition and retention efforts within our organization. This role will focus on recruiting for both sales and operations positions, sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates who align with our company's values. Additionally, this position will assist with onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and employee engagement initiatives. The HR Generalist will also provide support in training and development initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent for sales and operations roles.
- Network within the industry, attend recruiting events, job fairs, and build relationships with passive candidates.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and social media to attract, engage, and recruit potential candidates.
- Track hiring metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and support data-driven improvements.
Onboarding & Compliance:
- Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
- Oversee a smooth transition for new employees by coordinating training, documentation, and orientation.
- Maintain and update job descriptions, HR policies, and compliance documentation.
- Support HR leadership in ensuring managers complete quarterly conversations and annual reviews.
Employee Engagement & Experience:
- Assist in implementing employee experience programs that align with company culture and values.
- Foster retention, engagement, and a sense of belonging across a geographically dispersed and diverse employee population.
- Act as an HR resource for employee relations concerns, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Support initiatives that improve workplace culture and engagement.
Training & Development:
- Assist with training programs by delivering, coordinating logistics, gathering feedback, and ensuring learning objectives align with organizational goals.
- Support HR leadership in developing and implementing employee development initiatives.
- Help facilitate workshops and training sessions in collaboration with senior HR staff.
- Maintain training records and assist in evaluating program effectiveness.
Other HR Support:
- Assist with HR-related administrative tasks and compliance-related activities as needed.
- Work closely with managers to understand workforce planning needs and assist in strategic HR initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting for sales roles preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Proven ability to market job opportunities and company culture via social media and employer branding efforts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), learning management systems (LMS), and other HR software. Talent knowledge plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus but not required.
