Role : Production Support Engineer
The Production Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and restoration of application services, addressing incidents efficiently, and preparing Incident Response reports for major issues. This role also focuses on identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing them.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and maintain production environments running .NET applications and SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Swiftly address production incidents by performing root cause analysis using debugging tools such as Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and Application Insights.
- Manage Azure resources, including app services, function apps, application gateways, Data Factory pipelines, and Windows services.
- Monitor alerts and dashboards to respond proactively and as needed.
- Escalate critical incidents appropriately and organize team meetings to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and alerts to facilitate incident tracking and resolution within defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with Product, Project, and Delivery teams to facilitate seamless deployment of new code across environments, including production.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in application and database performance.
- Contribute to the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of software programs as required.
- Analyze documentation related to production changes in a complex environment.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding operational statuses to support quick responses to service interruptions.
