Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking CAD Operator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation for construction or permit. - Prepare system as-built drawings from onsite drawing mark-ups.
- Assemble drawing package sets and data sheets for submittal or permit; works on drawing package sets and data sheets with complexity levels varying from routine to, at times, more complex.
- What Youll Need
- Good knowledge / expertise in AutoCAD; including commands such as layers, xrefs, dimensioning and blocks.
- Strong skills in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
- Basic understanding of low voltage systems, instrumentation & testing, or P&ID preferred.
- Basic understanding of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, Intercom, Building Automation, or Mass Notification preferred.

- Requirements
- Education : High School / GED or equivalent experience
- Highly Preferred (but not required) : Revit
- Experience with AutoCAD
