What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Language Instructor position at Converse International School of Languages?
Downtown Private Adult Language School is looking for energetic, positive, enthusiastic teachers to teach ESL classes and join our professional community with morning and afternoon availability. Classes run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12: 40 p.m. in the morning and 1:30 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. in the afternoon. We are also looking for instructors with experience in business for our Business English program, experience teaching test preparation classes such as Cambridge First, Advanced, TOEFL and IELTS, as well as experience with academic writing.
We are looking for substitute teachers as well as teachers who would be able to teaching during the first 3 weeks of July.
Minimum qualifications include a B.S. or B.A. in English as a Second Language (ESL) or related field and at least two years of previous professional teaching experience. TEFL and TESOL certification required. Benefits include paid prep time from the time of hire and health insurance after initial trial period.
