Required Qualifications:
- An M.F.A. in Dance or a related field or commensurate professional experience with a baccalaureate degree
- Demonstrated ability to teach all levels of ballet and contemporary dance technique
- Significant professional experience teaching, choreographing, or performing dance
- Ability to work effectively with students, the public, and the University community with an appreciation for cultural and group differences
- Evidence of successfully promoting an environment that advances justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Demonstrated ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: dance anatomy, dance history, and/or dance composition
- Significant professional experience teaching, choreographing, and performing dance
- Collegiate teaching experience
- Certification in one or more somatic practice technique (Franklin Method, Pilates, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique, etc.)
