About the Position:
Convert Solar Consultants utilize a consultative sales process to educate our customers on the benefits of solar beyond their budget’s bottom line. Our consultants work in the field, going to customer’s homes daily and self-generating referrals from local events and networking.
- Creating customer relationships and developing a lasting customer base of Convert Solar to promote referral business.
- Generating new business through full sales cycle management: prospecting, qualifying, presenting in-home, closing and follow-up.
- Multi-tasking and adhering to critical deadlines is important.
- Attending community events as the face of the company.
- Leveraging a flexible work schedule to reach your goals. Evenings and Weekends are a must.
- Becoming an expert in Convert Solar. Our products, processes and sales tools are superior.
- Attending weekly trainings with our install teams, managers, and partners. We strive to consistently improve your abilities.

- We provide new hire training and constant coaching/mentoring to ensure your success.
- High-end compensation plan where there is no limit to your earning potential. $75-150k with ease.
- Most of our solar consultants are making $100k with no cap on commission. They are driven, resilient, and ambitious. We are looking for closers with a track record of success in sales looking for the right environment to be successful.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years solar sales experience
- A highly persuasive, self-disciplined & honest work ethic
- Proven success as a solar sales consultant
- Strong communication, organization skills and attention to detail a must.
- Drivers license and reliable personal transportation.
- Must have a clear understanding of sales cycle and contract agreements, and be able to explain and review agreements to close customers in their homes.
- Willing and able to always do the right thing with a strong focus on customer service.
- Outgoing and articulate; strong sense of self-discipline, self-motivation and grit
- Able to use a personal laptop and/or tablet for work
- College degree preferred but not required
