Job Overview:
The Sr. Pricing Manager, Finance role is responsible for calculating prices for Convey Health Solution’s products and services. The Sr. Pricing Manager uses actual, historical product/service profitability, industry competitive information, company business strategy, cost drivers and value-based analysis to determine client pricing that successfully combines profitability with competitive price points.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders from Operations, IT, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Finance to align pricing and profitability targets to corporate pricing strategy.
- Document historical cost drivers and update pricing models to reflect most current company, business unit and client level cost trends.
- Assist Sales & Marketing teams with their demos, sales pitches, and general information regarding pricing by providing parameters, offer details that support the price point, and other notable requirements or assumptions underlying the price quote.
- Support New Business implementation by providing financial guidelines and budget targets to the implementation team.
- Respond to RFPs / RFIs for pricing quotes and supporting documentation.
- Create multi-year P&L models to reflect quoted pricing and resulting financial performance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum, with strong preference for MBA or other advanced Finance / Accounting degree
- Seven (7) years of experience in a similar role
- Minimum three (3) years of experience at a Manager or Senior Manager level.
- Strong preference for Medicare-related financial and / or Medicare vendor pricing experience
- Ability to build complex, multi-year financial models in excel is required
- Must possess the ability to quickly correlate pricing concessions and cost drivers to profitability outcomes
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills are required
- Experience structuring multi-tier, multi-year pricing proposals is strongly preferred
- Prior knowledge of Responsive and HubSpot tools is a plus
- Vendor-side pricing or vendor-side economics experience is helpful in this role
- Experience using Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning and Office Connect is advantageous
Salary : $135,000 - $145,000
