The Digital Marketing Specialist owns the digital portion of the marketing plan. This includes social media marketing, SEO, paid digital advertising, and email campaigns. The duties include performing market research, strategizing with other marketing professionals and creating content to aid in the success of marketing campaigns.
Basic functions, essential functions, and specific duties:
- Manage digital marketing platforms, e.g. Linked In, Facebook, Google Ads, and digital platforms offered by appropriate advertisers.
- Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools.
- Assist in the production of marketing materials, photography, video editing, image manipulation and all literature print or digital.
- Compose and publish digital marketing content online.
- Implement email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor social media and Google Analytics and measure and report digital traffic.
- Assist in the development and publishing of graphic design bulletins and Company product communication releases.
- Work with Creative Director to optimize digital activities
- Travel to and participate in tradeshows.
Education and other Qualifications:
- 2Bachelor’s degree in a related field; and
- At least 2 years' experience in a professional Marketing role; or
- An equivalent combination of related education, training and relevant experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word).
- Must be able to work safely in and around production operations.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal, presentation and written.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven successful track record and experience in project management with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver a quality product.
- Team player who strives to promote harmonious working relationships with Company staff.
- Must be able to travel as required.
- Must be reliable and have an excellent record of attendance.
