About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to join our team and oversee the successful execution of Federal contracts. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, Agile expertise, and experience managing operations and maintenance (O&M) teams. This is a remote position requiring exceptional communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment with geographically dispersed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Federal contract projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to requirements.
- Lead and mentor teams in an Agile software development environment, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and driving continuous improvement (Scrum Master experience is a plus).
- Oversee O&M activities, including managing ServiceNow tickets to ensure effective resolution and operations support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and manage tools such as MS SharePoint, Salesforce, and Drupal (or similar content management systems).
- Effectively lead multiple geographically dispersed teams, fostering collaboration and alignment to achieve project goals.
- Use both direct and indirect management skills to drive actions and achieve results in a matrixed environment.
- Provide regular project updates and ensure clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Project/Program Manager on Federal contracts.
- 5 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- 2 years of experience leading operations and maintenance (O&M) teams or projects.
- Hands-on experience using ServiceNow to manage O&M tickets.
- Familiarity with tools such as MS SharePoint, Salesforce, and Drupal (or similar CMS platforms).
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple teams across different locations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a matrixed environment.
