Job Description:
NOTE: This position will be ideally based in the Washington, DC Metro area.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee and enhance the physical infrastructure of our restaurants, ensuring a seamless and high-quality operational environment.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight of facilities management, maintenance, and improvement initiatives across multiple restaurant locations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our restaurants, ensuring a positive guest experience, and fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of restaurant facilities
Coordinate and oversee routine inspections and repairs, collaborating with internal teams and external contractors as needed
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to secure cost-effective and high-quality services
Negotiate contracts and agreements for facilities-related services, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints
Develop and implement emergency response plans to address unexpected facility issues promptly
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and oversee the implementation of safety measures in restaurant locations
Implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability practices within restaurant facilities
Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements related to energy conservation
Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute capital improvement projects and renovations
Manage the project lifecycle, including budgeting, planning, and overseeing construction activities
Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Stay informed about changes in regulations and proactively address any compliance issues
Qualifications
Proven experience in facilities management within the restaurant, retail or hospitality industry
Strong project management skills, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The annualized salary range for this position (plus a bonus) is: $100,000 - $105,000
