The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight of facilities management, maintenance, and improvement initiatives across multiple restaurant locations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our restaurants, ensuring a positive guest experience, and fostering a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of restaurant facilities
- Coordinate and oversee routine inspections and repairs, collaborating with internal teams and external contractors as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to secure cost-effective and high-quality services
- Negotiate contracts and agreements for facilities-related services, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to address unexpected facility issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and oversee the implementation of safety measures in restaurant locations
- Implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability practices within restaurant facilities
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements related to energy conservation
- Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute capital improvement projects and renovations
- Manage the project lifecycle, including budgeting, planning, and overseeing construction activities
- Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and proactively address any compliance issues
- Proven experience in facilities management within the restaurant, retail or hospitality industry
- Strong project management skills, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
