What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator (Part-Time) position at Convivial Brands ELC Inc.?
The Event Coordinator assists The High Five client and guests on event day through the completion of event. This individual will oversee the event team, vendors, and venue all while providing five-star customer experience. The part time event coordinators works' variable hours dependent on the venues schedule.
The Position:
- Function as the on-site contact for clients and guests through completion of all events. (Closing event)
- Collaborate closely with vendors, staff, security, and entertainment to ensure compliance with the terms of executed contracts and Event Order.
- Prepare room environment such as lighting and temperature.
- Greet guests and escort them in and out of the facility.
- Provide clients and guests with five-star experience through exquisite customer service skills.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- On-Site venue supervisor during the event, ensuring all staff and vendors fulfill their roles.
- Professionally address any issues or emergencies that arise during the event.
- Set up or breakdown of the venue, ensuring desired layouts, décor, linens, furniture adjustment, taping cords, pushing carts, audio/video, and equipment is in place and or put away properly.
- Completed closing event checklists.
- All other duties as assigned by direct manager.

Required/Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Event Management is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Event Planning (specifically Weddings).
- Must be able to work evening and weekend hours.
