Warehouse Loading Dock Worker

We're in need of a Loading Dock Worker at our Distribution Center in Wyoming, MI. Ideal candidates able to life up to 50 pounds, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures. Those three values are what guides our day-to-day operations and ensures we are moving in the right direction the right way.The Position : Loading and unloading trucks.Completing cycle counts.Performing count verification and inspection.Must be able to work in variable conditions within a warehouse setting - variable temperatures during different seasons.Light assembly including ability to understand and operate feeding and sorting equipment.Pick, pack, ship and process all daily order types and perform all tasks associated with those duties.Maintain a clean work area to keep products and merchandise clean and help prevent work related injuries.All other duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.Required / Desired Qaulifications : High School education or equivalent certification is required.1-2 years distribution center / warehouse experience preferred (not required).Ability to lift 50 lbs.Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift and move for extended periods in order to complete everyday tasks.Ability to use or willingness to learn general warehouse equipment such as carts, ladders, and lift trucks to complete everyday tasks.Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.Able to work the shift hours M-F 7am-4 : 00pm, plus occasional overtime.Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.Basic understanding of and willingness to use computers.Acceptable proficiency in basic math and problem solving.Ability and willingness to learn new tasks.Commitment to team environment and willingness to complete all tasks as assigned.What's in it for you?No experience is required - we're willing to provide you the training you need to be successful in the role.Convivial Brands is a family-owned company based in Grand Rapids, MI.
