JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Director leads the sales effort for our sophisticated senior living community, focusing on achieving presales goals, fostering community among depositors and driving strategic growth of the community brand and mission. The Sales Director is responsible for hosting and presenting at local market lead generation events, both at and away from the sales office location. The Sales Director is a servant leader who interacts with all prospects, depositors, and team members in a manner that is respectful and collaborative. The Sales Director reports to the EVP, Marketing & Sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Provides overall leadership for the department
- Responsible for staffing, retention, development, training and performance management of staff
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve pre-sales objectives (and occupancy once open)
- Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts sales strategy to meet changing conditions
- Monitors competitor product, sales and marketing activities
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Prepares weekly sales activity reports
- Represents and promotes the community at various civic, association, and trade meetings
- Identifies prospective depositors
- Handles inquiries and meets with prospective depositors and their advisors
- Conducts scheduled and unscheduled presentations about the community
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job

- Work schedule includes evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience
- Five or more years of leadership experience in a senior living or CCRC environment
- Must have outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proven success with presales for a blue-sky or greenfield project
- Computer literacy which includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft Office suite
Salary : $80,000
