What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic II - HVAC position at Conway Medical Center?
Position Summary :
The Maintenance Mechanic II-HVAC will install, maintain, adjust, modify and perform major overhaul and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems by interpreting blueprints, manufacturer specifications, as well as written and verbal instructions. The MMII-HVAC will make initial settings and final adjustments of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and modifying existing installations to obtain required results. The MMII-HVAC duties will included but are not limited to the installation, troubleshooting, repair or calibrations, and maintain reciprocating and centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, direct expansion systems, electric blast coils, immersion coils pumps, fans, starters, pneumatic and electric controls, electrostatic filters, domestic refrigerators, laboratory ultra-low temperature boxes, walk-in coolers and freezers, fountain equipment and ice makers. The MMII-HVAC will follow a predetermined schedule of preventive maintenance; make recommendations regarding major overhaul of systems, and provide technical guidance and direction to lower level personnel. The MMII-HVAC must be willing to report back to work during any emergency situation, this includes if needed during inclement weather, mass casualty, internal disaster, etc. TheMMII-HVAC will complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education / Experience :
- Qualified in One of Three ways required :
High School graduate and seven (7) years specific HVAC experience or;
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
