Overview:

The Clinical Director is responsible for the operational success of the organization. This

position will ensure that all behavioral health care services are delivered in an effective

and efficient manner. This position will have the authority to implement, modify, and

supervise the schedule for behavioral health services. This position provides coaching

and supervision to all clinical staff.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position provides leadership and day to day management and oversight of all

behavioral health services. Directly supervises clinical staff. Provides hands-on

supervision, leads by example and motivates staff to deliver measurable, accountable,

and cost-effective results.

Ensures compliance with all clinical documentation, policy and procedures, as well as

external regulatory bodies and funding sources. Measures and analyzes productivity of

clinical staff.

Provides solutions to problems and manages the implementation process to ensure

successful outcomes.

Assist in budget preparation and reviews budgets and manages operational cost.

Establishes appropriate clinical services procedures; conducts meetings with clinical

staff to discuss problems and exchange information.

Ensures quality of clinical services and the delivery of client services.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.

Regulations governing the operation of behavioral health services.

High degree of health and clinical administration knowledge.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a master’s degree in social work or related field (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT –

Required)

 

EXPERIENCE:

7 years’ experience working in behavioral health.

5 years’ experience in a clinical leadership role.

Experience developing and implementing treatment plans.

Excellent clinical assessment skills.

Exceptional written and verbal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.

Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations.
