This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and integrity of our procurement activities (and we procure a lot). What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee procurement processes, including micro-purchases, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Invitations to Bid (ITBs).
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, 2 CFR Part 200, NAHASDA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Draft contracts, modifications, and amendments.
  • Conduct cost and price analysis to ensure fair and reasonable pricing.
  • Identify and engage qualified vendors, ensuring competition and quality standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance and maintain procurement records for audit and compliance.
  • Support the disposition of fixed assets in accordance with regulations.
  • Provide procurement training to internal staff as needed.

The Basics:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • Experience: At least 3 years in procurement, with 2 years of experience using a computerized purchasing system preferred.
  • This position is offered at Level I-III, with opportunities for growth as you gain experience and expertise in the role.
