What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Compliance Manager, you will lead CILC’s compliance efforts by ensuring regulatory adherence, mitigating risks, and overseeing compliance reporting. You will work closely with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and funding partners to maintain CILC’s compliance posture, enhance policies and procedures, and support ethical and responsible lending practices. Your role will directly impact our ability to operate efficiently, maintain funding, and support the communities we serve.
Regulatory Compliance & Oversight
- Research, analyze, and communicate compliance requirements across lending operations.
- Assist in policy development, compliance monitoring, and training initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports.
Risk Management & Auditing
- Oversee BSA/AML and OFAC programs, conducting risk assessments and quality control.
- Manage compliance audits and regulatory examinations, ensuring corrective actions.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Oversee CDFI certification and compliance tracking for funding sources.
Grant & Loan Fund Compliance
- Monitor grant budgets, track fund balances, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Collaborate with accounting and program teams for effective grant fund management.

The Basics:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking or related field.
- Experience: 5 years in lending compliance (mortgage, business or consumer lending).
- Experience: 2 years of supervisory or management experience; preferred
- Must have or obtain NMLS federal/state licensing within 90 days of hire.
- Location: This position is based in Anchorage, AK. Flex scheduling and/or hybrid options may be available.

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
