What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Scheduler position at Cook Manufacturing?
Role:
Cook Mfg Company is a family-owned company that manufactures equipment for the industrial finishing industry. We offer a full line of paint booths, powder coat booths, ovens, and accessories. We are currently seeking a production scheduler to join our team in Reed City, Michigan.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
· Review open sales orders and determine production requirements.
· Release work orders to production department.
· Communicate any material requirements to the office.
· Cordinate job requirements between each work cell.
· Provide daily production output and other metrics to management.
· Monitor and track the production performance and quality.
· Identify opportunities for improvement using problem solving tools and relevant data.
· Notify sales of any delays or potential late shipments.
Qualifications:
· Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Self-motivated with a results driven approach.
· Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
· Ability to identify the root cause of a problem and perform the proper corrective actions.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 / Hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
