Inspector's Assistant

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and professional individual that would enjoy spending most of their work day on the road following assigned route preforming exterior home insurance inspections.

Under the supervision of inspector, the candidate will be trained to conduct in person inspections of residential dwellings, which includes taking photos (multiple roof, each side of main house, outbuildings, hazards, etc.) as well as how to correctly measure and draw a sketch of each property. The entire process is simple, easy, and only takes approximately 15 minutes to complete inspection from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and an eager to learn attitude. They will have strong common sense, professionalism, and dependability characteristics. Although not required, real estate or insurance knowledge is an advantage. A reliable (fuel efficient) car, valid license, and insurance are required for this position.

Duties

- Follow driving route and conduct thorough inspections of assigned dwellings

- Identify and report any hazards on property

- Document inspection results accurately and efficiently

- Follow all company instructions, procedures, and guidelines

- Communicate effectively with inspector

Required

- Valid drivers license

- Fuel efficient vehicle with valid insurance

- Smartphone w/ GPS

- Ability to perform clerical tasks related to inspection documentation

Additional Important Information

-Part time position, consistently 2-3 days a week. Days are flexible, CS is willing to work within your Monday - Friday availability.

-100% driving position, one can expect very minimal office time during days worked.

-This is a 1099 position. Contractor pays all their own expenses.

-Starting pay is $10.50 an hour ($12 after 90 days), with paid training, paid working lunches, and an additional bonus for each completed inspection starting on date of hire.

-Estimate earnings of $100-$150/day worked, with potential to earn more depending on your availability and accuracy.
