Veterinary Practice Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and management, ensuring that our team provides the highest quality of service to our clients and their pets. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a passion for animal welfare, and the ability to manage both staff and client relationships effectively.

Duties

• Manage the daily operations of the veterinary practice, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Supervise and train staff in animal handling, medical collection, and veterinary terminology to enhance team performance.
• Oversee scheduling of appointments and procedures, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
• Implement policies and procedures related to animal restraint, pet care, and overall practice management.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional development among staff members.
• Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
• Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Assist with bookkeeping and payroll.
• Assist with hiring of staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a veterinary setting or similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary critical care practices, and pet care protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Proficiency in medical collection processes related to veterinary services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
