```Duties```
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals and in maintaining medical records
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures and record results
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery, monitor, and assist during surgical procedures
- Take radiographs using proper technique and positioning
- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
- Provide basic grooming services to animals, such as bathing and nail trimming
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans

```Skills```
- Proficient in kennel operations, including feeding, exercise, and cleaning
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medical procedures
- Experience in veterinary critical care, including emergency response and triage
- Skilled in drawing blood, placing IV catheters, getting urine and fecal samples, and performing basic laboratory testing (ear swabs, skin scrapes, fungal cultures, etc)
- Familiarity with pet grooming practices, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming
- Ability to handle dogs safely and effectively, including restraining during examinations or procedures
- Understanding of animal husbandry principles for proper nutrition, housing, and overall well-being
- Knowledge of dog training techniques for basic obedience commands and behavior modification
- Strong attention to detail in providing animal care, including monitoring for changes in behavior or health conditions
- Proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
