What You’ll Be Doing
The Clinic Coordinator will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our healthcare practice. They will be responsible for overseeing daily administrative and operational activities to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. The Clinic Coordinator also oversees all activities and remediation related to successfully maintaining the practice’s Rural Health Clinic Certification.
The success candidate will be able to:
- Working in conjunction with the other Clinic Coordinator(s) and reporting to the Practice Administrator
- Assist in managing the administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture
- Support the development and implementation of effective operational processes to optimize workflow and enhance patient satisfaction
- Coordinate and monitor daily activities such as appointment scheduling, patient registration, billing, and medical records management
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws (HIPAA), and industry standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline patient care processes and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Oversee the implementation and utilization of electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner following the complaint procedure
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain patients, contributing to practice growth
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement within the practice
- Assisting with Quality Incentive Programs to complete quality metrics as outlined by MCO plans.
- Lead all activities around compliance with Rural Health Clinic regulations, requirements, and surveys
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma required
- 3 years of experience in healthcare practice management or related administrative roles
- Rural Health Care experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and privacy practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
