Driver

About the Role: The Warehouse/Delivery Driver holds a critical role in supply chains, responsible for the accurate transport of goods. Their duties include loading/unloading, maintaining vehicle safety, and adhering to traffic regulations. Beyond logistics, they serve as the frontline representatives, requiring strong communication and customer service skills. The position demands a blend of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver material and inventory accurately and efficiently avoiding unnecessary deliveries

• Make sure daily that all trucks are gassed, clean and restocked before the end of the scheduled shift

• Manage vehicle maintenance to maintain safe driving

• Clean all trucks weekly

• Keep warehouse, garage and parking lot clean and organized

• Follow all procedures and administrative duties by deadline as assigned by Dispatch, Operations Manager or Warehouse/Fleet Manager

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must hold or be able to obtain a DoT medical certificate
• Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to drive safe, obey all traffic laws and operate vehicles in a safe manner
• Ability to use GPS and cell phone effective for efficiency and safety
• Ability to communicate professionally with a friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to follow directions for product assembly and other warehouse projects
