As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining inventory, and promoting our products through effective upselling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the golf shop, including stocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals through effective communication and teamwork.
- Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively.
- Familiarity with golf equipment and apparel is a plus, along with an eagerness to learn about new products.
