The OpportunityWe are seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Infectious Disease program at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. This role will provide weekend, on-call coverage from 4 : 00pm on Fridays to 8 : 00am on Mondays. We are looking for a minimum of one weekend shift per month of inpatient rounding on the CDH Main Campus at 30 Locust St, Northampton, MA 01060. This position will be in a judgment-free environment that respects all cultures, races, religions, sexual orientations, and lifestyle choices.The NP / PA is responsible for : Performing histories and physicals on all new and follow up infectious diseases inpatientsReviewing by phone with attending physicianAnswering phone calls from providers and outpatientsThe NP / PA will support physicians, collaborate with consultants, nurses, case managers, and others to provide high-quality, efficient care for patients.
