Coons and Crump LLC, a consumer bankruptcy law firm, is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney licensed to practice in Kansas or Missouri.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential clients to assess their financial situations and explain available options, including those under the Bankruptcy Code.
- Conduct client meetings to draft, review, and finalize bankruptcy documents before filing.
- Represent clients at 341 court hearings.
- Manage open Chapter 13 cases, including representing clients at confirmation hearings, resolving objections, and drafting and filing motions.
- Collaborate with paralegals to address issues in existing cases effectively.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice law in Kansas or Missouri.
- Strong understanding or ability to quickly develop a solid grasp of the Bankruptcy Code and its application to consumer cases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in helping clients.
- Proficient in computer systems with the ability to learn new software quickly (Microsoft Office, Best Case, etc.).

- Pay: Starting at $80,000/year incentive pay (expected additional $5,000 to $20,000)
