Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up patients in the exam room
- Perform and document:
- Vital signs (manual BPs)
- EKGs
- Reconciliation of medications
- Reason for visit, health care concern
- Interview/discuss with patient changes in patient's health since last visit
- Assist the provider with minor surgical procedures
- Prepare appropriate medications for injections
- Phone messages, faxes, and Medical Reception responsibilities as needed
Education and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certification
Work Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Expected hours: 40 per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Requirements
- Ability to relocate to Cape May Court House, NJ 08210
- 1 year experience with EPIC (Preferred)
