Job Summary
Prepares contact lens orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area for pickup. Works under general supervision.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
- Picks lenses for customer orders according to picking list.
- Completes plasma and solution batches as dictated by customer orders.
- Shrink wraps all completed contact lenses and ensures wrap is clean and undamaged.
- Performs assembly of Patient Care Kit components for eye care practitioners.
- Maintains quality standards during the kit assembly process.
- Prints packing slips for completed customer orders.
- Prepares kit and lens orders for shipment, including checking for accuracy (product and quantity) against packing slip.
- Verifies all contact lens serial numbers match packing slip.
- Selects and places protective packing on items as required to securely and effectively minimize breakage.
- Weighs container and contents and prints address label using appropriate carrier software.
- Verifies address label matches packing slip.
- Seals container, affixes address label and other appropriate labels / stamps.
- Delivers order to shipping / loading dock for pick up.
- Replenishes primary picking locations daily and in a timely manner to facilitate order turnover on both an as needed basis as well as proactively.
- Maintains security and integrity of physical inventory, following FIFO rule.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Openly communicates with customer service, accounting, and manufacturing departments.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Ensures a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes weekly cycle count inventory as assigned.
- Performs other job duties, tasks or special projects as assigned by manager.
- Understands and adheres to specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), complying with FDA requirements and ISO standards.
- Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $16.99 and $19.35 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
Salary : $17 - $19
