Asheville Residential House Advisor

Asheville Community Program is a transitional living community for people whose lives are impeded by mental health challenges.  The House Advisor provides coaching support, life skills support, and community building activities.

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule:   

• 40 hours per week
• Wednesday – Saturday schedule
• Requires a minimum of 3 overnight-asleep shifts per two-week period
  1. Two overnight shifts one week and one overnight shift the alternating week

Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour and increases based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist the residents in meeting their goals and oversee all aspects of community living
• Support residents with meal prep, grocery shopping, chores, medication management, host outings/events, and mediate conflicts
• Complete weekly notes, email, & complete routine paperwork in a timely manner
• Active participation in Community Program meetings

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent life experience
• At least 21 years or older, a valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record to be on our company car insurance
