We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cabling, electrical systems, computer networking, and low voltage installations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including security systems, fire alarms, and data networks
- Perform cabling and wiring installations for various systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with low voltage equipment
- Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Test and configure computer hardware components
- Provide technical support for alarm system sales
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in low voltage systems and electrical work
- Knowledge of computer networking and telecommunication systems
- Mechanical aptitude for handling various tools and equipment
- Familiarity with volt meters for testing electrical circuits
- Experience in working with alarm systems is a plus
