Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is evolving its business model to sustain industry-leading growth, and we are expanding our Finance team to support strategic, data-driven decision-making. In this critical role, the Sr. Manager, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence will be instrumental in enhancing financial reporting and business intelligence capabilities. This individual will lead the transformation of Excel-based reports into dynamic Power BI dashboards, develop new financial reports, and deliver on actionable insights to drive performance. As the primary liaison between Finance, Operations and the Data team, this role will ensure that our data infrastructure, KPI reporting, and analytics tools are optimized to support accurate forecasting, performance measurement, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in KPI reporting, data analytics, and business intelligence tools, with experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry being a plus. This position is based at our Restaurant Support Center in Downers Grove, IL, as a key member of the Finance team.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide clear and actionable financial insights.
- Convert existing Excel-based financial reports into automated and dynamic Power BI reports.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to identify reporting needs and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Work closely with the Data team to ensure the financial data lake is structured effectively and supports reporting needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes through automation and advanced analytics.
- Maintain and validate data accuracy in Power BI reports, ensuring integrity and consistency across financial reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive business decisions and improve financial performance.
- Develop and document best practices for BI reporting, including data governance and report design standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial reporting, data analytics, or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Experience working with SQL and data lakes is preferred.
- Knowledge of data science concepts and their application in financial analytics is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing best practices.
