The VP of IT Infrastructure & Operations will be responsible for the strategic direction and tactical delivery of IT Infrastructure, IT Operations and End user support (IT I&O), and for ensuring the delivery of solutions and services that are aligned to meet Cooper’s Hawk IT and Business strategies. Reporting to the CTO, this position is responsible for leading an internal team and 3rd party vendors supporting I&O functions including Network & Telecom, Servers Infrastructure, End User Computing (e.g. Desktops, tablets), IT Helpdesk, Support and Operations.

What You’ll Do:
- Strategic direction of the areas of responsibility including maintaining a roadmap that aligns proposed projects with company and departmental priorities. Develop business cases for solutions alternatives and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with IT and Business senior leadership to understand priorities and determine the I&O needs necessary to achieve business and IT objectives.
- Drive formal I&O solution selection, implementation and upgrades throughout the project life cycle.
- Measure and communicate performance. Set targets for functions and team members that deliver on department and company objectives
- Drive continual improvement to increase efficiency and maximize business value.
- Partner with teams to evaluate I&O solution options to support project needs or user requests. Provide solution options, estimates and recommendations as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain work plans to implement IT I&O initiatives and special projects on-time and within budget. Partner with the project managers as appropriate to provide planning input into organizational initiatives
- Migrate function from reactive to proactive to maximize the availability of Technology Solutions for Guests and Team Members while optimizing cost.
- Establish and maintain regular communications with the organization’s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, and end-users regarding pertinent activities
- Determine the optimal mix of internal and 3rd party resources to balance cost, scalability, and service delivery.
- Participate in the selection and negotiation of contracts with vendors for areas of responsibility. Ensure the Business terms in agreements reflect department and company needs. Direct the management of vendor relationships and services in area of responsibility and ensure maximum business value for our spend.
- Implement processes and procedures to meet applicable compliance requirements
- Develop methods and procedures that align the operations and team’s activities with Hospitality Industry best practices
- Direct the day-to-day activities of the function
- Coordinate professional development of team members to ensure skills are maintained and enhanced
- Remain current on industry best practices and trends, recommending improvements and upgrades accordingly
- Manage the development, maintenance, and forecasting of expense and capital budget in area of responsibility
- Ensures that solutions meet all legal, compliance, internal controls, and accounting standards
- Participate in special projects or perform other duties as required
- 12 years experience in information technology
- 8 years demonstrated leadership experience
- 5 years experience in a multi unit retail or restaurant environment
- Innovative thinker, able to envision how technology can be implemented to solve challenges
- 5 years experience in managing technology infrastructure networking and telecommunications functions
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Experience in implementing and managing regulatory compliance in a multi unit environment
- Knowledge of PCI Compliance and the ‘defense in depth’ approaches to protecting IT infrastructure from cyber attacks
- Experience in successful implementations, re-implementations and upgrades of technology
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
- Ability to plan, manage and deliver major complex projects/services
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and handle ambiguity
- Ability to communicate effectively with Business and technical audiences at all levels
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional groups and participate in problem solving process
- Ability to develop and implement standards and procedures
- Ability to negotiate beneficial terms and service level agreements on contracts

Salary : $230,000 - $260,000
