THE ROLE
We are seeking a Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations to lead and optimize the IT infrastructure and operational support systems for our client’s high-growth organization. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Technology and is pivotal in supporting the company’s strategic objectives. As part of the IT Executive Leadership Team, you will oversee multiple teams within the infrastructure and service operations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with organizational goals.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead and manage multiple teams, including Service Desk, Field Services, End-User Computing, and Infrastructure.
Ensure the deployment, management, and optimization of critical IT tools such as service desk systems, network infrastructure, telephony, and disaster recovery.
Oversee the management of IT infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring compliance with best practices and security measures.
Collaborate with business leaders to ensure IT operations align with strategic goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Drive continuous improvement in operational performance through the use of metrics and KPIs.
Lead tactical initiatives to support new location developments and long-term scalability.
WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
10 years of experience in senior IT leadership roles, managing complex IT infrastructures and large-scale environments
Strongly prefer industry knowledge and experience in retail, and / or manufacturing
Proven leadership and team-building skills, with experience in developing and mentoring high-performing teams
Deep knowledge of networking, servers, telephony, and disaster recovery systems.
Experience with service desk operations, major incident management, and IT tool optimization
Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
