The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to join our team as a Medical Office Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in a physician's practice as a Receptionist and medical assistant, with typing skills of at least 40 wpm and excellent telephone and communication skills. Additionally, the candidate should be a graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC(13:35-6.4) approved certifying body and hold current certification from a recognized certifying board approved by NJ Board of Medical Examiners.
Responsibilities:
The Medical Office Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating receptionist and clerical responsibilities for the office, ensuring smooth operation and maintaining inter-department communication. This will include assigning coordinates and solving problems to assure smooth operation of the office, maintaining inter-department communication for problem resolution with Office Manager, and assuring adherence to hospital/departmental policies with regard to safety, drug storage and front desk operation.
