Nuclear Medicine Technician Job Description
As a Nuclear Medicine Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care while working closely with our team of healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to operate PET/CT and SPECT/CT units in accordance with State of NJ guidelines. Additionally, you must maintain licensure to perform CT portions of nuclear medicine exams, including obtaining and processing studies safely and efficiently. This will involve adhering to optimal standards for general NM exams, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT imaging. You will also be responsible for ensuring completion of radiation safety measures in accordance with the hospital's NJDEP Radioactive Materials License.
