Job Overview
This position requires a highly skilled Nuclear Technologist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate PET/CT and SPECT/CT units in accordance with New Jersey State guidelines
- Perform quality control measures on all instrumentation as per manufacturer's guidelines
- Assist physicians in radioactive therapeutic treatments in a safe manner according to Radiation Safety guidelines
- Proficient in IV placement for procedures
Education and Certification
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Nuclear Medicine
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
- NJDEP - Nuclear Medicine certification
- NJDEP Diagnostic Radiology or NJDEP Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology license
