We are seeking a highly experienced Lactation Consultant to join our team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lactation policies and procedures
- Provide comprehensive lactation consultations to new mothers, addressing their concerns and needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based lactation protocols
- Promote breast milk expression and storage techniques among new mothers
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- At least 2 years of experience in lactation consulting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated compassionate care and support
- Proficient computer skills
- Current New Jersey RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
