Overview:
Cooperstown All Star Village is seeking passionate and creative individuals for our Social Media & Marketing Internship. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop professional skills in digital marketing and content creation while working in an exciting baseball environment. Interns will play a crucial role in capturing and sharing memorable moments, engaging with our audience, and promoting the Cooperstown All Star Village brand. This is a paid position with lodging provided. We are also happy to work with your school to help you secure any required college credits upon the successful completion of your program.
Responsibilities:
• Capture and post engaging content across Cooperstown All Star Village’s Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.
• Identify and implement social media trends to enhance engagement.
• Track and analyze social media growth & analytics.
• Assist in promoting merchandise, attractions, and other offerings within the park.
• Interact with guests to gather feedback and create engaging experiences.
• Assist the Marketing Coordinator and Unrivaled Marketing Team with additional tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with brands and agency representatives to execute strategic sponsored social media campaigns.
Requirements:
• College student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Basic photo and video editing skills using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools
• Understanding of major social media platforms and content creation strategies.
• Knowledgeable on camera skills, for both Video and Photography
• Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in customer service, marketing, or social media management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong writing skills and creative initiative.
• Background in sports, especially baseball/softball, is a plus.
