RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR
Coors Remodeling Inc. in Lafayette, IN is looking to hire a Residential Construction Estimator. We pay $68K- $86K and provide great benefits including 401K, PPO medical plan, paid time off, and holiday pay. This is a full-time position with the typical schedule of Monday through Friday from 8-4 pm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Scope of Work development
- Determining the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.
- Researching construction documents and analyzing specifications.
- Preparing estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work.
- Preparing estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensuring that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a proposal.
- Keeping track of all pertinent information regarding each project.
- Regularly reporting to Management and keeping consultants updated on timeline for estimate completion.
- Formulating contingency plans and effectively managing risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
- Keeping track and implementing any of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
- Collaborating with other teams, conducting site visits, and providing other services, when required.
- Utilize construction management software when applicable. (Buildertrend)
- Assist in change order calculation and delivery if needed.
- Work with design team to ensure design and estimate line up.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of construction knowledge
- 2-3 years of estimating experience
