Overview
The primary purpose of your position is to maintain the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and comfortable manner in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, as may be directed by the Administrator, and/or the Executive Housekeeper, to assure that security of the physical plant and grounds and safety of the residents and employees is maintained at all times.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for the security of the physical plant and grounds, and the safety of the residents and employees during tour of duty. Responsible for the cleanliness of the physical plant and environment, including the fixtures, furniture and equipment, in a clean, safe, attractive, and operative state at all times. Responsible for all work duties listed on the detail roster.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older, in good physical, mental and emotional health, able and willing to perform heavy lifting and tedious physical chores inside, and when conditions warrant, outside the physical plant, and in times of emergencies. Able to read, write in English with clarity sufficient to follow instructions, identify materials from their labels and understand their direction for use, and be able to make written reports when necessary. Dexterity in operating cleaning equipment, courteous, polite, and ability to get along with resident and fellow workers. Willing and able to work alternate shifts and to replace fellow workers who are unable to work their schedule due to illness, vacations, holidays, etc. A valid driver’s license is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.04 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
